January 15-“City of San Francisco”. The winter of 1952 brought the snowiest winter of the last 100 years, and in the middle of the worst of it, the passenger train the City of San Francisco made the headlines when it became stuck on Donner Summit for several days. January 15th. The Vikingsholm Winter Film Series continues with Mike Douglas at the Olympic Village Lodge at 7 pm. This is part of a series of great athletes regaling the public with their adventures in nature.
