CROSS COUNTRY SKIING
For cross-country enthusiasts, you will find beautiful trails at Tahoe City XC/Lakeview Ski Area, Royal Gorge Ski Area, Sugar Pine Point State Park, and Donner Memorial State Park, just to name just a few. These Nordic ski areas are groomed for touring as well as skating.
In addition, there are many beautiful areas on the North and West Shores for back-country skiing, sledding, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling, as well as two ice skating rinks located in nearby Squaw Valley and Northstar.
Slip and slide Lake Tahoe trails and tracks for a different outdoor experience. Connect with the backcountry and leave behind the crowds at the resorts.
