Green's Haven is a cozy country cabin nestled in the woods on a private street. Access to a great beach just down the hill and only minutes from an amazing network of mountain biking trails. The perfect place for a couple of couples or a small family looking to relax and getaway from it all in beautiful North Lake Tahoe!

Great knotty pine wood finish throughout with natural light in every room. The small kitchen is quite functional with a 30 inch stove, fridge, microwave, and oven, but no dishwasher. Eating area for 4-6 people with a sitting area, steps down into living room with flat screen TV/DVD, wood-burning wood-stove, full/double sofabed, and card table.

Bedroom downstairs with a set of bunk beds and a queen bed. 3/4 bath in the hall. Narrow stairway leads upstairs with low ceiling at the top so watch your head! Bedroom upstairs has full/double bed and attached 3/4 bath. Accordion door and shutters close off the loft bedroom for privacy. A large deck out back with sun chairs, bike storage underneath and a propane BBQ. Access to a HOA beach with great BBQ area, double-decker pier, and dog friendly hours.

Bedroom 2 - Downstairs, Bunkbed with Twin Beds and a Queen Bed

Must be at least 25 years old to rent.

Prior approval is required to bring more than one dog to any dog-friendly property. All dogs must be at least one year old and must not be left unattended at the property unless crate trained. No pets other than dogs are allowed at any of our pet-friendly properties (no cats, birds, ferrets, etc.).

*PLEASE NOTE: If you are bringing a dog to our dog friendly property there is an additional fee of $100+tax per dog.

Our properties do not have air conditioning.

BBQs are not provided during winter months (November to Memorial Day)

CHAINS OR SNOW TIRES ARE OFTEN REQUIRED IN WINTER. PLEASE BE SURE TO READ OUR WINTER DISCLOSURE, PROVIDED WITH A RENTAL CONTRACT ONCE A RESERVATION IS MADE.

ON MARCH 11TH 2022, THE COUNTY OF PLACER IMPLEMENTED A NEW SHORT TERM RENTAL ORDINANCE WHICH IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR GUESTS TO ABIDE BY. FINES RANGE FROM $1,500- 5,000 AND CAN BE ISSUED TO GUESTS WHO ARE NOT IN COMPLIANCE. A FULL LIST OF RULES IS ATTACHED AS A PHOTO IN THIS LISTING. SOME HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE:
•QUIET HOURS ARE FROM 9PM TO 8AM. NO NOISE SHALL BE HEARD ACROSS PROPERTY LINES. NO OUTDOOR SPEAKERS OR AMPLIFIED SOUND ARE TO BE USED AT ANY TIME.
•DOGS MUST BE LEASHED AT ALL TIMES WHEN OUTSIDE OF A PROPERTY AND ALL PET WASTE NEEDS TO BE PICKED UP.
•PARKING IS LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING NUMBER OF SPACES: 4 - STREET PARKING IS PROHIBITED YEAR-ROUND.

Overall satisfied with home and stay. A couple of things for feedback - Leave a light on inside and outside the house for arrivals after dark.Would have been nice if the deck was swept clean of the pine tree falls.A small dishwasher would be a great addition to this home!

We loved how the cabin was located on the non-tourist side of lake; but still close enough to shops and restaurants. The neighborhood was so quiet and relaxing, nice area to walk, hike, and feel safe. The property and cabin were extremely clean, a little outdated, but quaint. Definitely would recommend the cabin to anyone, especially pet-owners.

Cute little cottage that was exceptionally well cleaned. Prompt communication with the rental group was appreciated. However, the carpet is in poor condition and needs to be replaced. There is a very foul smell coming from the washer. Additionally, the twin bed on the lower level has dangerous frame extensions that protrude from the side nearest the wall. Upon sitting down, I caught my ankle on one of these can received a nasty gash. Lastly, one of the photos gives an inaccurate perception that the lake is within walking distance. This was not the case.

I hate giving bad reviews, but I was disappointed with this unit. Overall, the structure is nice and solid... it didn't feel chintzy in the least. But the beds are lousy as all get-out and there is a faint bad smell (urine-like) in the living room (maybe the sofa?) The house was clean, though the beds were not made on our arrival. The housekeeper later apologized saying she had the dates wrong. Also, the walk to the private beach is much more extensive then described, and uphill to return. The things I liked were the deck, the nice washer/dryer combo, and the location is quiet.

We had a great time. The cabin is a quick drive to town and the beach, but far enough out that you have quiet and privacy. The cabin was clean on arrival and had plenty of space for our family and dogs.

Thanks for another great weekend in Tahoe. We spent Saturday morning punishing ourselves at the Tough Mudder on Northstar, and the evening on the back deck of Greens Haven. Such a great time.

I don't have a lot of experience with rental groups, but these folks I can easily recommend. Everything was just nice & comfortable! We stayed in late June, home was cool in the day (we kept the blinds shut), enjoyed the rear deck for brunches. Easy access to hiking trails. Great get-away place for my wife and I to celebrate out 26th anniversary.

The bedding (comforter, sheets, pillows) were very nice. There were enough towels. The deck was very nice. The DVD player was not working and only showed videos with a blue/green tint so we could not use it. The TV only had 12 standard channels and no cable. The windows were excellent and provided great insulation. The window coverings were awesome. The armchairs and couch could use a cleaning or changing, kind of worn out. The location was awesome and having access to a private beach was really great! The neighbors were not so great. On one side they arrived over the weekend and partied, loudly, over the entire weekend. On the other side, their two dogs barked almost incessantly at anything. The interactions with Hauserman were excellent and the staff was very promptly and friendly. The light bulb in the kitchen was out. There were crumbs on the kitchen table and on the armchair in the living room. The outside table and chairs were filthy. The smoke detector in the bedroom did not have batteries.

We love the small details they have made making it as comfortable as possible. I was skeptical about the bed having back issues myself but it was, to my surprise, a restful sleep every night. Dishes especially the silverware could use an upgrade but it's not a deal breaker. Access to Tahoe City and King's Beach is great. We love North Lake Tahoe (I lived on the South Shore for 5 years in my earlier life) and we plan to rent this beautiful home again. The Kosaka's

Wonderful cabin with a large front porch and a large back deck. The back deck has a gate for your furry friend so he (she) won't run off. Yes, the kitchen is small, however my husband and I found that if we had one in the kitchen at a time there was no problem. If you go out the front door and turn left and go a block there is a great nature trail. I would recommend this cabin to anyone.
