This lovely home is nestled in the woods in the Tahoe Pines neighborhood on the West Shore. The Tahoe Pines HOA beach and pier is within easy walking distance, only 1/2 mile!

An elegant kitchen, remodeled living area and master bedroom round out this comfortable 3 bedroom, 3 bath dog-friendly home. The lower level features a beautiful, modern, and fully-equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room, full bathroom, laundry facilities and 1 space in the garage. Upper level has two bedrooms, each with a Queen bed (one also has a Double futon), and a full bathroom. The plush Master Suite with King bed, kitchenette, bathroom with shower (no tub) and small work space is above the garage but accessible from the main part of the house.

It’s the little things that make a big impact: 60” SmartTV in the living room with Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu, and every bedroom has multiple USB connectors for charging your wireless devices! Relax after a long day in the mountains in the covered hot tub surrounded by snow or play horseshoes in the back yard while you soak in the filtered sun.

Must be at least 25 years old to rent.

Prior approval is required to bring more than one dog to any dog-friendly property. All dogs must be at least one year old and must not be left unattended at the property unless crate trained. No pets other than dogs are allowed at any of our pet-friendly properties (no cats, birds, ferrets, etc.).

*PLEASE NOTE: If you are bringing a dog to our dog friendly property there is an additional fee of $100+tax per dog.

Our properties do not have air conditioning.

BBQs are not provided during winter months (November to Memorial Day)

This house is fabulous! The kitchen is so well-stocked with everything we need; we often get rentals that are sorely lacking in various common-place items. The beds were all out-of-this-world comfortable! Never, ever, have we had comfortable beds at rentals that were this good. We hope to be able to rent here again.

We have stayed at this cabin once before and are glad it is available again. Well maintained, spacious for 7-8 people. Great hot tub and also table and chairs outside very comfortable. Nice neighbors. Short walk to great beach. Very close to Tahoe City with everything it offers but far enough away from traffic and such. Lots of great restaurants for breakfast lunch and dinner. Entire family goes up for about a week every year and now that Poplar Place is back that is where we will stay every year.

This was a great location for our Palisades ski trip! Quiet area but not far from Tahoe City & Palisades. Very clean and lots of space throughout the house. The hot tub, sled & laundry machines were additional amenities that made our stay comfortable and fun! Thanks!

This is our second time at Poplar Place. The layout of the house -- which has two "wings" -- works really well for us. The master bed is very comfortable and great for tall people.

The house has everything we need and is in our favorite West Shore neighborhood.

WE had a wonderful stay at Popular Place, it fit our needs perfectly. We were 3 couples and appreciatd the 3 bathrooms so know one got in the way of each other. The home is well built and sound trnasfer was minimal. We took advantage of the very clean hot tub, the picnic table in the rear yard and the horse shoe pit. The dining area is small but workable. The front deck was an added area to enjoy the beautiful trees surronding it. The location was perfect for our needs because it was close to the Concourse D' Elegance woonden boat show.

This was our 2nd stay at Poplar place. We have a dog and this has been a good place to stay. The house is well appointed, beds are comfortable and the outdoor space is great.
My only complaint is that there were only 3 beach towels and 3 beach chairs for a house that sleeps 6 people that is not enough! Also the knives are very dull and should be sharpened.
Otherwise a great stay for a week.

Place was great and super spacious. It's really two cabins in one, so if part of your family wants extra space it's there. The TV's are confounding to get working with all the different remotes, but we were there to watch TV anyway...

Our only complaint would be that we left a pair of very expensive sunglasses on the counter accidentally and didn't discover it until hours away. We called the office and they checked with the cleaners who said nothing was found. We can't prove they were taken, but we're pretty sure. Our fault for forgetting them, but would've been nice to get them back.

This home was fabulous. We were snowed in for all 4 days that we were there, but never lost power/WiFi/TV. If you have to hang out inside for several days, it wasn't a bad place be stuck. The sitting room was warm and cozy and the kitchen extremely well equipped so eating in was easy. Would highly recommend staying here.

Beautifully designed home with everything you need for comfort and relaxation. The sense you get of the owners is of generous-spirited people who created a haven for their own family that they are now trusting others to enjoy and preserve. The house is light, bright and airy with comfortable beds, a sunny deck with an umbrella and comfortable table furniture, set in an ideal location to reach Tahoe City, Sunnyside, west-side beaches and Blackwood Canyon hiking. The only thing I would like to see added would be a dog gate on the deck. We wish to thank the owners, and we're looking forward to returning..this has been our favorite Tahoe home!

This place was perfect for us. About a 5 minute drive to Homewood and 10-15 to Tahoe City.

Let's start with the steam shower. This was amazing. It got as hot as the steam rooms at the gym, but this one you can actually shower in and get clean. I ended up taking 2 showers a day!

The Hot Tub was nice and warm. Usually we like it about 95, but most people like it over 100 and that is what it was.

The house lay out was a little odd. It kinda felt like 2 different homes. The master bedroom was over the garage. Because one of the couples ended up opting out, we didn't even use this bedroom. But it did have a sink and microwave in it as well as a small study within the studio type master bedroom. My wife, son & I just stayed in the main part of the house.

We went about 2 weeks after a big snow storm. The roads when you got near the house were still a bit snowy and icy. I have an all wheel drive so this was a PLUS for me. I enjoy driving short distances in tougher conditions. When I say short, I mean less than a quarter mile!

Overall, this was a 5 star place for us.

House was clean and has everything we needed.

My family and I had a great time at Poplar Place on the West Shore. The weather did not permit us to hike surrounding trails like we had originally planned, but this was a great home for much needed R&R- it has a covered hot tub all you need to do is bring some wine! The kitchen is full of spices to cook, plenty of cookware, plates, bowls, coffee maker, etc. We even found some cooking oil in the cabinets and napkins. There is a functioning washer and dryer at this house as well that comes in handy if you are spending more than a few nights. The house is walking distance to the private HOA pier on Grand Ave. A must see West Shore lake view. The wifi is slow and you get pretty lousy reception, but there is a land line that you can use to make calls if needed. Hauserman Rental Group is very responsive to any questions you have about the property. This property is good for big groups or a family trip.

Clean, well maintained cabin in a vintage neighborhood with walking distance to pier and rocky beach access. Not luxurious, but priced well. Mattresses are all a bit firm for my taste. Plenty of bedding, towels, cooking gear. Hot tub and grill worked great. Backyard hammock got plenty of use too.

This beautiful home was exactly as pictured. We loved the peaceful location which was near all the activities that we wanted to do to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The home was thoughtfully stocked with everything that could possibly be needed. It was roomy, clean, and nicely decorated. A big bonus was being able to use the garage to store our kayaks and bicycles. We would definitely look forward to staying here again.

This place is great. You are in the woods enough to feel like you are able to enjoy nature...and close enough to take advantage of everything that Tahoe has to offer in minutes. We spent time in South Lake Tahoe and all over North Lake Tahoe...and it was easy in both directions.

The property was immaculate, well appointed and perfect for our family of 4...although we could have had another family of 4 with us and been quite comfortable with plenty of space.

We didn't really interact with the Hauserman Group because there wasn't any need. They communicated well in advance and every instruction they gave was clear and easy to follow. I had one issue with the website and they responded literally in minutes and were super helpful.

We would definitely come back!

Beautiful home and well taken care of. Everything was perfect for us. Beautiful location and only 5 miles away from Safeway, Gas stations, CVS, and other needy stores and main town. Lake was walking distance, maybe less than a mile. Drove to Tahoe and only 53 minutes drive. Enjoyed the hot tub. Patio is huge and love the morning and all day sun hitting the patio deck. Overall excellent choice of us. Everything in the home worked well and loved the TV, heater and fireplace.

Very clean. Super comfy beds. Upgraded thermostats and fireplace were easy to use and kept us nice and warm. The blue bar soap is amazing!! Directions for check in, bear fence, hot tub and check out were very clear. We didn't use the garage but this is a really fantastic amenity to have. The steam shower was very nice.

We had a very nice stay, relaxing and enjoyable house is amazing they only thing i would suggest is a blender if there's one i didn't see it (i couldn't have a smoothie or a blended margarita) and need casserole dishes and serving bowels and platters but we got by thank you for a wonderful place. Just a side note. I really liked the dinning table can you tell me where they got it i like how it can make a very long table.

Hi guys, It's been many many years that we travel and rent, but this was one of our most favorite homes to stay. Every generation of our family loved and enjoyed it. Home is beautiful and cozy, hard to imagine that we could possibly want/need anything besides what was there. Considering it's a dog friendly home, it is kept crispy clean and spotless. Even hot tub temperature was perfect, and master bedroom mattress was the best ever, I even went to look for a new mattress for my own bedroom :) Loved everything about it. How easy to rent, how easy to access, how well it's kept. My mom fell in love with your Hauserman blue glycerin soap's look, smell and feel! It's a first time I remember my mom falling in love with a piece of soap :) Already miss the house and beautiful Tahoe, will be looking forward to coming back!
