Light pours in to this home from the front and the back both full of huge windows!

Fantastic open floor plan/cathedral great room which includes beautiful, well-equipped kitchen, spacious living area and formal dining area. Separate large family room downstairs with a beautiful upright piano.

Master bedroom off great room with King bed and TV, walk-in closet, huge armoire, private bath featuring jetted tub and separate shower. Powder room (1/2 bathroom) on same level for convenience as well.

Second story decks off the front and back of house including a propane grill on the deck off of the kitchen available during summer months. Overlooking picturesque Tahoe National Forest in the back of the home.

Downstairs, family room with table space for games or office, sofa-bed (Queen), TV, and sliding glass door to the forest. Two bedrooms each with Queen beds and large closet. Shared two-sink full bath. 2 car-garage and entrance directly into the house.

Gorgeous home, like new! Enjoy lots of owners' unique and original art while you are nestled in nature. Not a peep from the highway! May the snow blanket you in this little slice of heaven.

Love this property. The master bed was very comfortable which is very important to us. All of the minor issues we encountered last time were addressed and we appreciate that. The only two items I would bring to the owners attention is to let the house cleaners know to vacuum under the master bed as it was pretty dusty by the headboard. Also, might want to check the outdoor watering schedule as I think it goes on twice per day everyday. May want to modify for Fall. Both are very minor issues and we really enjoy stating there and plan to do so again

Highly recommend this house and location. The great room in the house has very nice natural light, all the kitchen amenities you would need and a lovely fireplace. The back patio gets good sun and yet you feel surrounded by trees. Really enjoyed taking quiet walks around the neighborhood looking at the Tahoe style homes. The location is perfect for a walk in the forest (we saw bears) or to the beach. My kids loved playing in the backyard and walking to the nearby creek to throw in pine cones. A great house and location!

We had a wonderful long weekend at Tahoe staying at this house. Beautifully located within walking distance from Lake Tahoe and only minutes away from spectacular hikes, this house was an incredible base for our vacation. The house itself is gorgeous, a spectacular wooden structure, tasteful furnishing and decor and a bright, spacious layout. We really enjoyed the proximity to Bliss State Park and Emerald Bay with their scenic and relaxing hikes.

We had such a lovely weekend staying in this beautiful home.

We had such a lovely weekend staying in this beautiful home. The neighborhood is peaceful and verdant, and only minutes away from the lake and a short drive away from some of our favorite walks and day-hikes, and the market just a few minutes away was great for picking up a delicious morning coffee. The house managed to feel both spacious and cozy at the same time, with large common spaces and inviting front and back decks, great natural light, and a lovely collection of art displayed throughout the premises. We loved spending time soaking up the mid-day spring sun on the back deck while enjoying breakfast. Everything was well-maintained and completely spotless, and we were told everything we needed to know beforehand to smoothly access the house and feel comfortable. Would definitely visit again!

We loved this house ! It was very clean and comfortable and we look forward to renting again. Only a few minor observations. The screen door at the front deck did not shut tightly and it appears it isn't sliding properly. The screen on the back sliding door door has some holes near the handle as does the window next to it. The front door has a fairly sizable gap at the bottom which could allow bugs or mice to enter although we did not observe this happening. These are just a few minor things the homeowner should be aware of.
