**DOGS CONSIDERED**

Charming 3 bedroom cabin 2 minutes from downtown Tahoe City with added convenience of 2 car garage. Very woodsy neighborhood, house backing up to greenbelt with the Granlibakken ridge and ski trail to Paige Meadows just behind. The back yard is perfect for sledding! Just down the street from the Kennedy cabin and Bonanza.

Great deck with propane Weber grill. Sleeps 8 with downstairs room having a Queen bed, upstairs bedroom with a Queen and one Twin, 2nd upstairs room with a Queen and 2 Twins. 2 full bathrooms, one on each level. Living area with TV/DVD, fully-equipped kitchen, and dining area for 8 people. Sorry, no long distance phone service, but internet is included!

Bedroom 1 - Downstairs, Queen Bed
Bedroom 2 - Upstairs, Queen Bed and Twin Bed
Bedroom 3 - Upstairs, Queen Bed and 2 Twin Beds

Must be at least 25 years old to rent.

Prior approval is required to bring more than one dog to any dog-friendly property. All dogs must be at least one year old and must not be left unattended at the property unless crate trained. No pets other than dogs are allowed at any of our pet-friendly properties (no cats, birds, ferrets, etc.).

*PLEASE NOTE: If you are bringing a dog to our dog friendly property there is an additional fee of $100+tax per dog.

Our properties do not have air conditioning.

BBQs are not provided during winter months (November to Memorial Day)

LOVED ❤️ this house. It was perfect for our family, comfortable, had so many nice amenities and the deck was awesome. We spent a loot of hours out on the deck and out back with all the trees. Wonderful trail up above the house that we walked on daily, Loved this place so much, we all can't wait to return!!! Thank you for allowing us and our dogs (who also had a blast) to stay!! Highly recommend!

Dad Berghaus was perfect for a few days in Tahoe! Great, central location with close proximity to downtown Tahoe City, Commons Beach, Several Ski resorts. The backyard is great for snow play for small children. The home was clean and had a great layout. And a plus for being dog friendly!

Das Berghaus was perfect for our family. The house was comfortable, the kitchen easy to work in and fully stocked with cooking needs, and the configuration of the upstairs bedrooms allowed our grandson to share a room with his parents. Too, we so utilized the sledding hill right behind the house and trails above the hill, including snowmobiling. Our grandson and his grandpa enjoyed building a life-size snowman they named "Grandpa Boo." We also used the woodburning stove almost every night. It was a wonderful Christmas at das Berghaus. As a family, we vote on every house we rent, and everyone agreed that a return to das Berghaus was a certain possibility. If you stay at this house, seek out the spectacular lake overlook in the neighborhood.

Das Berghaus was all it represented itself to be. Perfect house for my vacation with children and grandchildren. They especially enjoyed the back yard sledding hill. I was very pleased with the Hauserman Rental group. The combination of the owners and the rental group makes for a very comfortable rental arrangement.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The cabin was clean except for the windows. Some windows were dirty but I think some have broken seals and need to be replaced. It was hot when we were there so it was nice they had fans in all the rooms but I would recommend screen doors on all the doors to improve air flow. They also need to replace there frying pans because one had a loose handle that made it hard to use.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Very quiet neighborhood, great for walks. The house has lots of space and was very clean and welcoming. Close to everything. We really enjoyed the Tahoe House Bakery and walks along the marina area. Great parks for kids to pla.

We had a great stay in our cozy Tahoe City house in the pines. The beds were comfy, the kitchen well equipped, it is very clean and organized well for our week of skiing and hiking. Also it was fun to walk to the Tahoe House Bakery in the morning for fresh pastries. We recommend staying here and hope to be back!

Our family enjoyed spending time on the deck. We played card games at night on the large dining room table. And the short drive to the lake was very convenient. We loved grilling many dinners on the spotless grill and the trail behind the house was a wonderful surprise.

The only complaints we have are as follows:
1) A broken chair on the deck
2) No dishwasher detergent
3) Very little dishwashing liquid

Otherwise, our stay was relaxing and fun. :)

Das Bethaus was in the perfect location - just minutes from the restaurants and stores of Tahoe City, but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The house had lots of beds which worked well for a group of 7. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a great stay here this past weekend. The home was very clean and well organized with very helpful instructions placed strategically throughout. The kitchen was very well-stocked with ample dish ware and cookware of all sizes. The surrounding area is beautiful and feels like you’re tucked away in the woods while still being very close to markets and attractions. We would definitely stay here again.

The property is very well kept and clean. The staff at Hauserman were very professional and helpful. Suggestion: more toilet paper please! Also, the dishwasher is not working properly. The cover to the soap dispenser may be causing the issue. When I open the door after cycle has run, the soap tablet is still in tact.

We stayed next door last year and it was nice but it was not available this year. So, we stayed here. We love love love to eat outside and spend time on a nice patio and this place had all of that and next door did not. The downstairs is a great room (with too much furniture but we moved a chair to the spacious garage) that is just fabulous. The table is large for puzzles and board games as well as meals. There is also a bar with stools from which to eat. The beautiful woods and trails are behind the house. Great for mountain biking with the dog each morning. Lots of quiet streets to walk the dog. So close to the biking trail along the Truckee River. We had 4 and then another family of 4 joined us for a short time. Plenty of room. The downstairs stays cool during the hot weather. It is a little dark downstairs but if you open all the shudder blinds, you can get some good light. The beams are gorgeous. It is so clean and clearly the owners and renters respect it. So, you better too. We plan on coming back and we want it to stay in the great condition in which we left it. We bring our own sheets and just put them over whatever is there so I have no comment on the sheets. The bread spreads looked new and clean. The garage is usable and a great place to store bikes. I was shocked at how much more I liked it relative to the place next door. One warning, the master shower is tiny. Luckily, the amount of time we spent in the shower relative to our total time here was very small. It is perfect for your dog. Nice but pet friendly. At first I was disappointed that there was no TV in the bedroom but it was for the better. I needed a break from so much TV. The BBQ is charcoal and not propane, which my husband didn\\'t like but I didn\\'t care. The food was still good. We always bring our own TP because my hubby must have Charmin. He has a delicate tush, I guess. So, no comment on the TP. We always bring extra paper towels too. They could use more hand towels in the kitchen, The two are definitely not enough. And, paying a little extra for Hauserman is worth it. They know their properties and take great care of them. We discovered Hauserman just a few years ago and will never rent from anyone else again. Internet was great (two bands). I always have to work while I am on vacation so it was perfect. Enjoy ... and treat it as if it was your investment!!!!!

Loved the patio, the open floor plan downstairs, that it stayed cool, the kitchen layout, and the cleanliness. Constructive criticism: less furniture in living room, better lighting, and a mobile shower head in the master shower. Optional: propane BBQ. None are deal breakers.

We really enjoyed the house, cozy and comfortable. It was perfect for us. We love the location. Having access to the garage was great. And the deck is awesome! We have rented on Chapel Ln for 12 summers now. 10 years in the same house, not an HRG house. It was sold in 2018 so we started renting with HRG last year and wanted to stay on Chapel Lane so we can access the Tahoe Rim Trail that is behind the house. Last year we were in a different house and it didn't quite fit the bill. Das Berghaus was perfect for us. The backyard leads to the Tahoe Rim Trail, so we can mountain bike and take the dog for walks. We want to continue renting it for years to come. Thank you!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Das Berghaus! The cabin was cozy and had plenty of beds for everyone. The kitchen was fully stocked and very spacious as we were cooking for 8 people. Only thing was that the bottom right burner on the stove was not working. Overall, everyone loved the property and location! We will gladly stay again.

We love this house! Very well appointed for family gatherings, with enough dishes for all! And room to be together! We enjoyed the closeness to hiking and skiing. One of the front right stove burners wasn't working right, but nothing to worry about. It is so great to rent from Hauserman Rental Group!
